It takes a village! Indeed, it takes the participation of a “critical mass” of students, mentors and community partners with aligned goals and aspirations is essential for the success of professional development programs. We are extremely happy that you are interested in expanding our summer cohort. We guarantee that your funds will go a long way in catalyzing the metamorphosis of several high school students in the years to come. This program will be jointly funded by American Chemical Society Project SEED*, NYITCOM at A-State, Arkansas Biosciences Institute (ABI), and the Community Health Centers of Arkansas (CHCA).
At the end of the summer, some of these students will be eligible to apply for a college scholarship (from American Chemical Society) and some of them will enter in to INTEL/Regeneron Science Competitions facilitated by the Society for Science and the Public, Washington DC.

Theatre 2/3/4 and Thespian Troupe 42 will present The Bullying Collection on May 16-17, 2019. Tickets are $5 and go on sale May 8, 2019.
This performance will consist of nine 10-minute plays that are described by their publisher with the following: We asked nine talented playwrights to write a 10-minute play based on his or her unique take on bullying. The result is this collection. Designed to be flexible, the plays can be performed in any combination. From a cyberbullying (Grey Area) to a group of former bullies that meets regularly to discuss their recovery (Bullies Anonymous), to a grown man who must confront his former bully at their 10th reunion (Reunited and It Feels So Good), the plays range from the tragic to the comedic, but they all work to reveal a new perspective on a common problem.
Don't miss your change to see this! Tickets on sale during lunch shifts!
