ACT Academy
The HSU ACT Academy provides point-in-time intervention/assistance for high school students prior to the administration of the national ACT exams scheduled at Henderson State University. The one-day, intensive boot camp is designed to teach specific test-taking strategies and refresh student knowledge and skills in content areas. University faculty and public school master teachers will work in teams to meet the needs of all students. See link below:

El Dorado High School Mini Cheer Clinic
The EHS Cheerleaders will host a mini clinic for ages K-6th. There are two practice days (October 14th and October 21st), and participants will perform at the October 26th football game. Contact Coach Bledsoe with any questions!

Mrs. Martindale’s, Mrs. Phillips, and Mrs. Owen’s CTE students in Computer Science Essentials, Tourism Industry Management, and Social Media listened to recruiters from SAU Tech for enrollment in Multimedia Graphic Design and Gaming Design Programs yesterday.

Meet Mrs. Charise Easter!
Mrs. Charise has been a lifelong fan of the Wildcats! An '86 graduate of EHS, she has supported the purple and white as long as she can remember. She and her husband, the president of the EHS football booster club, strongly believe in the Wildcats, both on and off the field. Being a Wildcat is a family affair in the Easter household, even the youngest loves the Wildcats!
Mrs. Charise's teammates at Northwest had this to say about her, "She instills fun and team spirit with the students at Northwest. Wildcat days are always so much fun with Mrs. Charise! We love our Mrs. Charise!"

The Cheer Cats Club (C-3) will offer students who meet the above criteria to cheer for 4 minutes of the 3rd quarter with the Varsity Wildcat Cheerleaders during the home game this Friday, September 28th.
Tickets will NOT be pre-sold. You must be at the game to purchase a ticket. Tickets go on sale BEFORE the game, beginning at 6pm, on a first come, first serve basis. Limited spots are available.

ACT Update:
The October ACT will be taken on October 27th. The deadline to sign up to take the exam is October 14th.
We apologize for any inconvenience the mistake caused!
The EHS flu clinic is October 3rd. All students are eligible to receive the flu vaccination, but all paperwork must be filled out and returned to the Nurse's office by September 28th.

Parent Teacher Conferences are TODAY from 12-6pm! Make plans to come out and visit with your scholar's teachers!
Do you love taking pictures? Can you find the best angles and composition in a photo? Are you interested in furthering your skills? Join the Photography Club, a division of the EHS SkillsUSA. The cost to join is only $20 AND you'll get membership in the national, state, and local SkillsUSA Club levels. Meetings will take place twice a month after school and are optional. The dues to join is $20. See Mrs. Steele to sign up!
