Our Trap Team Season Has Officially Begun!

We’re excited to kick off the first season of ElDorado Shooting Sports! Our athletes recently competed against 8 schools in the South Region, including 22 senior squads, and gained valuable experience on the range while competing at Magnolia’s Panther Shootout at SAU’s FB&T Range. As a brand-new team, every round gives our shooters the opportunity to learn, improve, and grow stronger together.

This group is already putting in the work, and we’re looking forward to climbing the ranks as the season continues!

📅 Next Shoot: Saturday, April 4

📍 Hosted by: Nevada @ SAU

⏰ Time: TBA

We’re proud of these athletes for representing El Dorado and can’t wait to see how they continue to improve throughout the season. Stay tuned for updates and help us cheer them on!

📣 Calling all future Wildcats!

If your student is part of the Class of 2030, don’t miss our Parent Meeting tonight at 5:30 PM in the EHS Cafeteria. Come connect with sponsors, learn about opportunities, and get important info to help your student start their freshman year strong! 💜

This event recognizes seniors who have made postsecondary commitments and are continuing their education through college, technical training, military service, or career pathways.

During this canvas painting Club Day, students used their RTI session as a creative outlet to express themselves through art. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, relaxation, and self-expression.

Join us for "Anastasia" at EHS Auditorium on March 5-7 at 7 pm each evening. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and will be available for sale at the door.

Today was a special milestone at El Dorado High School as our juniors received their class rings!

These rings represent Wildcat pride, hard work, friendships, and the memories that make EDHS so special. With senior year just around the corner, the Class of 2027 is stepping into leadership and legacy.

We are so proud of our Wildcats and all they’ve accomplished — the best is still ahead!

Help us celebrate National School Resource Officer Day as we recognize and honor our incredible SRO!
With 18 years in law enforcement and 15 years serving as a School Resource Officer, Officer Heard brings not only experience and professionalism, but heart. Her commitment to building relationships, keeping our campus safe, and making sure every student feels heard, valued, and cared for does not go unnoticed.

Beyond the badge, she is also a proud mom — and she brings that same protective, compassionate spirit to our school family each day.

Thank you for your dedication, your leadership, and the countless ways you support our students and staff. We are so grateful for you!

We are proud of our students representing El Dorado High School at the FBLA Conference at the UAHT-Hempstead Hall in Hope, Arkansas, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Students who attended are: Carson Gilmore, Clayton Kelly, Isabella Rivas, Colton Owens, Chhay Khou, Brayden Cherry, Rosalie Alatorre-Olmos, Lambert Williams, Avelyn Chen, and Parys Meadows.

Sweet skills in action! 🧁 Students in Mr. Newman’s class learned how to make buttercream cake frosting from scratch during Club/Enrichment Day—and the results were delicious!

In Mr. Sanford’s Civics class, students made chart paper posters on the purposes of government and governing documents. Each group was tasked with creating their own posters with their tables, and then they had to present them to the class. They also had to answer some questions about their posters. Creating and presenting the material allows them to better understand the content, think creatively, and practice speaking in front of their peers. Proud of their effort and confidence.

Hey Wildcats, just a reminder, we are hosting our annual college and career night next week! Speak with colleges, trade schools, area businesses, community resources, and branches of the U.S. military. Students & families welcome!
