School picture day for underclassmen will be TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 23rd. Order envelopes were handed out during 4th period on Thursday, October 17.
YOU MUST HAVE YOUR ORDER FILLED OUT and MONEY FOR YOUR PACKAGE on picture day to order photos.
Senior retake day will be November 7.


Reminder that the Flu Clinic for EHS is tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22nd. You must have turned in your forms to Nurse Janet to receive your flu shot.

Support the EHS Band this weekend!
All proceeds will go toward the band’s trip to Washington, D.C. to march in the National Memorial Day Parade in May 2020.

Attention Seniors: College and Career coaches will also be hosting a College Application/Scholarship Party on Thursday, October 17th in the EHS library. Please come prepared with your resume, essay drafts, and three recommendation letters. We will have professionals helping you before you submit your applications for colleges and scholarships. IMPORTANT HOMECOMING PARADE UPDATE!
Due to the Main Street El Dorado Smoke on the Square event October 25-26, the El Dorado Homecoming Parade route has been changed!
This year, the route will be as follows:
Parade will leave Municipal Auditorium, travel South on Northwest Avenue to Oak Street, turn left onto Oak, left onto Washington and head North back to the Municipal Auditorium parking lot.

Socktober has started! Help EHS Beta Club reach their goal of collecting 1328 pairs of socks--one pair to represent every student on campus!

Girls doing science! They were collecting evidence for their claim that hydrogen peroxide is altered in a chemical reaction when exposed to liver. They had to develop the method of experimentation on their own!

South Arkansas Community College will be hosting a College Fair on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 in the El Dorado Conference Center (311 S. West Ave.)
Juniors are invited from 8:30 am-9:00 am
Seniors are invited from 9:00 am-9:30 am
Students will be able to meet representatives from colleges and universities in Arkansas and Louisiana and will be able to receive resources and information that will aid in the college selection process.
*** EHS will not be providing transportation to South Ark. Students may use one of their college visit days to attend. An EHS representative will be on site. Please see this individual as you arrive.

EHS FBLA attended the Fall District IV FBLA Conference in Hope, AR yesterday. Members attended breakout sessions for Leadership Skills and Spring Competitive events strategies. They attended with advisors Mrs. Martindale and Mrs. Phillips.
