
Route 29 will not run at the following times:
-Wednesday, March 2nd AFTERNOON
-Thursday, March 3rd MORNING and AFTERNOON
-Friday, March 4th MORNING and AFTERNOON
Parents will need to pick up their students from school on Wednesday, March 2nd, as well as transport their students to and from school on Thursday, March 3rd, and Friday, March 4th.
Route 29 will resume running a normal schedule on Monday, March 7th.

Yearbook: SENIORS! Yearbook ad payments and art are due by March 18. If you paid a deposit in December, the remainder must be paid by March 18 to guarantee you keep the size ad you ordered. If you haven't ordered yet, you have about TWO WEEKS to get your order in to Mrs. Cross. Space is limited. You may also still order a yearbook. Books start at $60. Both ads and yearbooks may be ordered online at www.jostensyearbooks.com.
Teenage Republicans: The Teenage Republicans will be hosting a Stop the Bleed event on March 4th after school. This event will be led by EMTs and will help you be more prepared during an emergency situation. If you would like to participate, please sign up in Ms. Rottman's room 2622. Teachers and students are welcome to attend.
Reading Challenge: March is National Reading Month. To celebrate, we want to encourage ALL Wildcats to complete a Reading Challenge that consists of daily tasks throughout the month of March. Students can pick up the calendar & log at the downstairs or upstairs office or in the library. After completing the challenge, students can return the log to the same locations where they picked them up. Students who complete the challenge will be entered into a drawing for prizes and gift cards AND their class will be awarded class points. Questions? Contact Mrs. McDuffie
SENIORS: Senior banquet tickets will be sold during all 3 lunch shifts. Tickets are $15 per person. Prom tickets will also be sold at the same table and are $15 per person. Last day for tickets will be March 18th. Senior banquet will be held in commons on Saturday April 2nd from 5:30-7:30 and prom will be held at MAD starting at 8pm.
Math Competition: The Regional Math Competition take place this Saturday, March 5 at El Dorado High School beginning at 9:45. Please sign up with your math teacher to participate.
EHS Soccer: Come out and support your EHS Soccer program as they begin their season against Hamburg tonight at the Stadium. Girls start at 5:30 and Boys at 7:00.

El Dorado FFA: This week is National FFA Week. In 1928 FFA was founded. In honor of FFA Week the El Dorado FFA is asking for your support by dressing up for America day on Friday the 26th. Wear your red, white, and blue to school. All hat proceeds will go to the El Dorado FFA. El Dorado FFA is also hosting a truck contest. Take pictures of your truck and submit them to sarah.hawkins@esd-15.org by Wednesday Feb. 23 at 6pm. The catagories for the contest are cleanest, dirtiest, oldest, and newest. We will vote each lunch shift on Thursday and Friday to determine our winners!

Consider Design Camp through the UofA where students have the opportunity to work closely with faculty and collaborate with peers in a fun and creative virtual or studio environment as they explore the design process.

Cheer: The varsity cheer team made it through 3 grueling rounds of competition Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to make school history by being the first ever team from ElDorado to make it past the first round in the competition! They shattered this record making it all the way to Finals with the best of the best from all over the United States. At the largest high school cheer competition ever held in the USA our team came out in 8th place in the Super varsity division 2 game day division! Go cats!
